How do I see the available properties?
Please send us an online inquiry with your travel dates, number of guests, pets and any preferences for your Yucatan rental home. You can find this form at the top of our website or you may email us at info@snowbirdsmex.com.

How much is the first deposit?
That depends on which property you choose as each property has a different first deposit rate. This deposit will be outlined in the rental contract.  The maximum first deposit rate is generally half of one month. 

How do I make a payment?
Once decided on a property for your dates, we will send you the contract that outlines everything you need to know about the rental. Once the contract has been signed we will send you an email with the deposit instructions. Deposits are made via Western Union. 

Are there extra fees?
No, the monthly rates are all inclusive of taxes, rates and fees.

Is there a damage deposit?
Snowbirds Mexico requires a 10,000 pesos damage deposit. This deposit must be paid upon arrival at the time of check in and will be returned within 72 hours after check out.

What is the cancellation policy?
If the cancellation is made 90 days prior to your check in date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.

I made the deposit, now what?
Once you have made your first deposit, you do a little happy dance! Then you check your inbox for your invoice and the welcome package. The welcome package has helpful details about the area.

How do I get the keys to the home?
The details on how to obtain your keys will be emailed you prior to check in. Generally, a member of our team will be waiting for your arrival at the house.  

Are linens and towels provided?
Yes, absolutely! 

What is the cost of pool cleaning?
Every pool size is different so the price varies. Between 150-250 pesos per cleaning. Pool chemicals are not included in that cost and are between 500-900 pesos.

Is there extra maid services?
Additional cleaning services are available for Snowbirds clients. Please just send us a message.

What is not included in the rental fee?

  • Electricity is not included in the rental fee. As it all depends on usage and we don’t know how many KW you will consume on your vacation it is hard to provide an estimate. We suggest you budget for an additional $150 USD per month/per bedroom with nightly air conditioning.
  • Gas: The house will be supplied with one full tank of gas, refills are paid for by the guest.
  • Water: One full water truck will be provided for the cistern. Refills are paid by the guest.
